Welcome to the Village of Addison Portal where you can apply for Building, Engineering and Planning permits, as well as, Rental and Business Licenses. Register for a Portal account to get started or sign in to create applications, check the status of applications and inspections, and make payments.

On March 16, 2026, an Ordinance was approved amending Chapter 6 of the Village of Addison Code in its entirety. As of March 17, 2026 all permits applied for in the Village of Addison must follow the current adopted codes (2024 I-codes with local amendments) and are subject to the updated permit fees.

All inspections can be scheduled by calling the Community Development Department at (630) 693-7530. Fees may be paid through the Portal.

2026 RENTAL LICENSES ARE NOW AVAILBLE TO BE RENEWED.

Rental License Renewal Notices have been sent out via Email and US Mail to the Portal Account Contact.

RENTAL PROGRAM FEES HAVE BEEN INCREASED EFFECTIVE FOR THE 2026 LICENSE YEAR.
